"Franklin McCants was listed as missing in action during 1864 of
the WBTS. There were thirteen men from Williamsburg who went in
to the army that were never located after the war as to whether
they were killed, died or captured. They were listed as missing
in action - fate unknown. Much of the information in this
history concerning the Civil War and our family members was
found in "The Call to Arms" by Danny H. Smith."
