16 May 1714 Thomas Jarrell patented 200 acres in Isle of Wright Co. Thomas Jarrell Jr. and Joseph Lane patented 1400 acres. Both were on the south side of the Nottoway River.


21 May 1717 Johseph Lane and wife Jelline Lane sold 200 acres to John Howell on the south side of the Nottoway River at Tuckwathunto Swamp and bounded by Wolf Pit Branch and Popes Branch. This was part of the 1400 acres granted to Joseph Lane and Thomas Jarrell Jr. above.


9 Nov 1718 Thomas Jarrell Jr. and Joseph Lane (husband of Julian Jarrell) sold to Wm Edwards 200 acres adjoining the land called The String & the Indian Line, Isle of Wright, VA.
