Item 2nd, I give to my grand daughter, Musidora A. Turner my two
feather beds, two french bedsteads and furniture and under the
bed, one peice bed ticking, one dining table, one chest, one
small trunk, and one brass candlestick to her and her heirs
forever.
Item 3rd, I give to my daughter Mildred O. Leftwich late Mildred
O. Turner all the balance of my household and kitchen furniture
of every description including what I have in the smoke house
together with Scotts family bible to her and her heirs forever.
Item 4th, I give to my grand daughter Sally S. McCallister ten
dollars in money to be paid her by my executor.
Item 5th I give to my grand daughter Sarah S. daughter of James
G. Turner the sum of five dollars to be reserved for her by her
father James G. Turner.
Item 6th, I give to my grand daughter Sally S. daughter of
Malancthon Turner the sum of five dollars to be reserved for her
by her father Malancthon Turner.
Item 7th, I give to my grand daughter Sarah Ann daughter of
Nancy I. Hall the sum of five dollars to be reserved for her by
her mother Nancy I. Hall for her.
Item 8th, I give to the female bible society of Bedford the sum
of ten dollars.
Item 9th, I desire that my executor hereinafter named sell all
my property at my plantation
consisting of horses and other stock, plantation utensils, crops
here upon a credit of one year. If there should be tobbacco on
hand that may be managed as my executor may think best and sold
in the usual way.
Item 10th, I will and desire that if there should be any surplus
or residue of money coming to me from my father's estate or
arising from any sale of my property or from debts or in any
other way whatever it should be equally divided amongst my
children now living and my grand daughter Musidora A. Turner
their heirs here.
Item 11th, I do hereby appoint my son inlaw Thomas S. Leftwich
my executor to carry the foregoing will in to effect, signed
sealed and acknowledged this 19th day of July eighteen hundred
and thirty four in the presence of Jno. Austin Wharton, Frdk
Annspaugh, Ro.

At a court held for Bedford County at the courthouse the 22nd
day of December 1834. This last will and testament of Sally
Turner deceased was proved in court by the oath of John A.
Wharton and Robert T. Cook subscribing witnesses thereto and
ordered to be recorded and on the motion of Thomas S. Leftwich
the executor in said will named, who made oath and gave bond and
security in the penalty of $2000: conditioned according to law,
certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in
