Becky: My husband is Corbett Wayne Collinsworth from Walton
County, Florida. We reside near Birmingham, Alabama. Wayne
knows a little about his family, but not much. Through the use
of the computer we have discovered that his great-great
grandfather was a Hezekiah Collinsworth,b.1834, who was the
father of Richard Collinsworth, who was the father of William
Manual Collinsworth, who was the father of William Corbett
Collinsworth, who is the father of my husband Wayne. Do you
think he falls into your family tree? We are wondering where
did Hezekiah originate from, because we do not believe he was
always in Florida. Thanks for any help you can give us! Teresa

I have just found out that my line also went to Texas. Zachariah
Collinsworth had a son named Elijah. After Elijah's death in
about 1870, his widow, her two sons and one daughter moved to
Hunt Co. Texas. A number of people from Pike Co. MS moved to
Hunt Co. TX at about the same time. Both the sons were married,
the eldest was Nathan. His brother was Isaac. Not sure on the
daughters name. Well I have to go. Let me know if this helps?
Best Regards, Wendy.
