"THOMAS HATTON, received by Thomas Hatton, the elder, on March last 8 years ago from Thomas Motham, Gentleman (his godfather) one of the clerks in Six Clark's office in Chancery Lane, London, now dec'd. A silver and guilt spoon for which he now gives his son, Thomas Hatton the younger, two sow pigs 16 July 1651. THOMAS HATTON, son of Thomas Hatton, received a cow from Francis Pott, 5 September 1648. Will 27 January 1675-4 February 1675, St. Mary's Co., Maryland. To sister-in-law, Barbara Hanson, personality which belonged to his first wife, and mentions his father-in-law, Randolph Hanson, his sister-in-law, Eliza: Hanson, his brother-in-law, Thomas Waughop, his wife, Elizabeth Hatton executrix, his only son, Thomas Hatton, and James Johnson, Richard, Thomas, Timothy, Barbara, and Elizabeth Hanson, children of Randolph Hanson. William Hatton, Randolph Hanson and Thomas Dent are appointed overseers."

Whereas mr Richard Smith Attorney of mrs Sarah Marsha plft of mrs Sarah Marsh hath Petitioned
this Patrick Forrest defendant) Court for a debt due from the Estate of me Thomas Hatton deceased, and Patrick fforrest Executor of the Estate of the Said mr Hatton deceased appearing in that Suit. And the Court having Examined both the accounts, do find that there is due from the Estate of mr Hatton, unto the
Estate of mr Marsh deced the Sume of one Thousand four hundred & Eighteen pounds of Tobacco, as also one Thousand Seven hundred pounds of Tobacco, which the Said fforrest alledgeth is Satisfied by an Order of Court at Kent obtayned by the Said Marsh against the Estate of Fran: Lumber, which was due to the Said mr Hatton as also two hundred pounds of Tobacco by a note of mr Medcalfes. The Court doth therefore order that the Said Mr Smith doe produce the Said note of the Said mr Medcalfes by the Court in march next, or Else not to be allowed the Said two hundred pounds of Tobacco Specified in the Said note, And the Said Patrick Forrest to produce the Said order of Court from Kent, with what other Evidence he can, that the Said mr Marsh had a Judgment against the Estate of the Sd Lumbar for the Said one thousand Seven hundred pounds of Tobacco, or else to pay the Said one thousand p. 348 Seven hundred pounds of Tobacco, unto the Estate of the Said mr Marsh deceased, Provided that the Said one Thousand four hundred and Eighteen pounds of Tobacco be forthwith Satisfied from the Estate of the Said mr Hatton, unto the Administratrix of the Estate of the Said mr Thomas Marsh deceased, or Else Execution
