Baron of Wigmore, co. Hereford, of Magna Charta Surety descent and descendant of Charlemagne. Executed at Elms, Tyburn, Warwickshire, England. English Magnate. He led the baronial opposition to Edward II's favourites (1320-22) and was imprisoned before fleeing to France. There he became the lover of Edwards Queen Isabella with whom he secured Edward's deposition and murder in 1327. He then ruled England in the name of Edwards son Edward III, until the latter caused him to be executed. Lord of Leix. Associated with de France, Isabella

His paramour was Queen Isabella. In 1330 was hung drawn and quartered at Tyburn (Marble Arch today) - by order of Edward III, Isabella's son..(Estates forfeited ) Virtually ruled England prior to this.


Roger IV 1st Earl of March was hung drawn and quartered at Tyburn where Marble Arch now stands. Marble Arch is now traditionally the place where people freely give forth their opinions on the Meaning of Life.

Henry of Hereford was the son of Miles of Gloucester, Earl of Hereford and Sybil de Neufmarché.1 He married Isabel (?).1 He was murdered between 1159 and 1163 by Seisyll ap Dynwal.1 He was buried at Llanthony, Monmouthshire, Wales.1 He held the office of the King's Constable.1 He succeeded to the title of Lord Abergavenny [Feudal] circa 1160.1

Seisyll ap Dynwal was murdered in 1175 by William de Briouze killed in revenge for the death of Henry of Hereford.2 He murdered Henry of Hereford between 1159 and 1163.1
