WILLIAM BROCKINTON is the 4th child of William Brockinton b.1685 Co. Down Ireland-d.1742 Williamsburg Co. S.C. and Sarah Giffin b. 17?? (she is shown as being born in 1716 and being married in 1715 by family history).

In the book The Brockington Family by Beiman Otis Prince (Professional Genealogist) Rec'd from Three Rivers Historical Society states that "This will (Wm Jr.'s) was dated 5th day of October 1744, witnessed by John Mc Cants, D. Obryen and Mary N. Campbell. Proven the 8th day of January, 1745".

No record is found of any issues of this marriage however some have believed that Joseph Brockinton, who received land grant on Jefferys creek in what is now Florence Co. may have been his son.

William's Will: [Will Bk 4:141-142] 16 Feb 1708, pv 25 Aug 1708 Westmoreland Co. Virginia. Exec: my wife, Elizabeth and Peter Skinner. Testes: John Skinner, John Thomas.
WILLIAM CASH, the progenitor of the southern branch of the CASH Family, first appears in the records of Westmoreland County, Virginia, 30 May 1694, on which date he was sworn as a grand juror. It is clear from the evidence, however, on this date he owned a large landed estate, therefore probably arrived in that place some years before. His plantation was situated in Washington Parish, Westmoreland County, but when King George County was formed from part of Westmoreland in 1720, approximately half of this land fell into each county. His first wife is unknown, however he probably first married ca 1688. His first wife probably died ca 1698 and he was then married ca 1699 to Elizabeth. He died in Westmoreland County, Virginia between 16 February 1708, the date of his Will, and 25 August 1708, the date of probate.
