"I don't know of Confederate affiliations . My mother says he
was buried in his uniform and that is was Confederate. She was
about 14 when Seaborn died. He would tell her of Atlanta and
the streets were dirt and how muddy it would be. He is listed in
the 1900 census and 1910 census as a peddler."
"Seaborn’s Obit reads: (no headstone found.) The Atlanta Journal
Monday Evening February 23, 1934 Funeral of Mr. Seaborn J Weaver
The funeral of Mr. Seaborn J Weaver, 98-year old Confederate
Veteran, who died Sunday at his residence at 335 Orange St. S W
will be held at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning from the Shadnor
Church. Interment will be in the churchyard. Mr. Weaver is
survived by five daughters, Mrs. W. E. Deleshaw, Mrs. J E
Boston, all of Atlanta Mrs. H S Guice, of College Park and Mrs.
O H Mitchell of Pensacola FL, and four sons, AO, BH, J C and LL
Weaver. Harry Poole is in charge

J C is Joseph C Weaver
LL is Leonard Lebrant Weaver - my grandfather
W. Luther married Nettie Viola? Buried in Shadnor Baptist Church
Cemetery in section behind church across tracks. Luther b.
April 2, 1875 d. November 23, 1928 Nettie b. January 16, 1902
d. March 4, 1951 these dates are off the tombstones.
Samuel b. Jan 1880 d. Oct 25, 1926 buried in Shadnor Baptist
Church -no head stone found- Killed in a hit and run accident
out side of Ft Mc Pherson according to news paper article he was
found alive and taken to Ft Mc Pherson hospital and later
transferred to Grady Hospital. Lived at 491 Robbins St. at the
time."
