"Thomas and John Nash came to Virginia about 1718 or 1720,
bringing with them enough money to establish themselves
comfortably.
Thomas Nash settled in Henrico Co., where he died unmarried,
leaving a will written in September 1732, probated June 1737 by
Bowler Cocke, Clk., in which he leaves his lands purchased of
Ralph Jackson in Henrico on the south side of James River to his
nephew, Tomas Nash, son of his brother John, and a negro wench
named Sarah to his "neece," Mary Nash, daughter of brother John,
and all the rest of his estate "of what kind or nature soever"
to be equally divided between his well-beloved Father, Mr. Abner
Nash, living in Tenby, South Wales, and his brother John,
settled in Prince George Co."

"Reference is made to the will of Thomas Nash, John Nash's
brother, dated September 8, 1732, and probated in Henrico at the
June 1737 Court in which mention is made of the testator's
father, Abner Nash of South Tenby, Wales, and in which property
was bequeathed to Thomas and Mary Nash, children of John Nash
[Thomas' brother].""
