Sr , was made May 7, 1786, and proved June 28, 1787, mentions sons, Stephen, Thomas, William, Benjamin, Isaac, Nathan, Jonathan, and John, who got the homestead in Coventry; and daughters, Welthian Wightman, widow, Elizabeth Williams, Mary Nichols, and Phebe Corwin. [Cov. Rec.]


Stephen Colegrove and Phebe Millard married June 7, 1740. If this refers to Stephen, Sr., above, it must have been his second marriage, for his daughter Elizabeth married John Williams, Dec. 2, 1753. [Cov. Rec.] Mary married Samuel Colegrove of Coventry. son of Francis, Oct. 18, 1779, and their son Francis was born Aug. 22, 1760. She married John Nichols, Dec. 12, 1773. Stephen's daughter Phebe married Phineas Corwin of Norwich, Conn., Nov. 4, 1779. The will of Stephen's Son, John was made Feb. 18, 1817, and proved April 7, 1817, mentions his wife, Nancy; daughter, Hannah, wife of Reuben Blanchard; daughter, Amey Colegrove; grand-daughter, Nancy Phebe King, and sons, Archibald and Bela H. Colegrove. Cov. Rec.]
