"In the name of God Amen--the 22 day of May 1708, I Margaret Lockett of the Parish of Bristoll in the County of Henrico, being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memory,
Pleased be Almighty God, Do make and ordaine, constitute and appoint this my last will and testament in manner follwoing, first and principally I recommend my soul to God that gave it
to me hoping through the merits and mediations of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to have full pardon and Remission of all my sins in full and certain hope of a joyful Resurrection at the
last day and my body to the earth from whence it was taken, to be buried in such decent manner as my executors hereafter shall think fit and convenient, and for such worldly estate
as it hath Pleased God of his Infinite Goodness to bestow upon me, I give and bequeath that as forthwith (Witz.)


"Imp. 1st. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Standly, one feather bed and boulster, being the same which I usually lye on, with one Blanket and one cow commonly called Duckey with whatever she shall increase after my Decease to her and her heirs forever.


"Item-I give and bequeath to my sons Bejamin and Thomas Lockett and my daughters Susan Griggs and Mary Mitchell to each and every one of them one shilling sterling to be paid by my
