Henry - b. Nansemond Co., VA; d. Apr. 16, 1716, Chowan Co., NC; will dated Feb. 24, 1714, and proved in 1716, Chowan Co., NC.

"Henry KING - b. Nansemond Co., VA; d. 1715-1716, Chowan Co., NC. Son of Michael KING and Elizabeth HIRY. His will (dated Feb. 25, 1714, and proved in Apr. 18, 1716, Chowan Co., NC) left land in Nansemond Co., VA to his children. Henry died between Oct. 2, 1715, when was given a power of attorney, and Apr. 4, 1716, when his widow was called the wife of Gerrard LYNCH and relict of Mr. Henry KING. All three of Henry's sons and four daughters are mentioned in his will. Henry obtained lands in Nansemond Co., VA and Chowan Co., NC, apparently moving to Chowan Co. in 1697, and to Gatesville, NC by 1711."

# Michael - b. about 1700, Chowan Co., NC; d. about 1741, Bertie Co., NC. Called a minor son of Henry in 1716, he was placed with his Uncle John KING, as guardian. Lived between Cashie River and Salmon Creek, Bertie Co., NC in 1719. Michael's name appears on many land transactions in Bertie Co. His will dated May 20, 1741, and proved in 1741 in Bertie Co., NC, names two horses, 16 slaves, wife Isabel, and children. Isabel married second Mr. DIALL. Children: Michael married Mary SNELL (grandparents of V.P. William Rufus KING); Henry married first Ann SNELL, and second Mary BOONE; John married Priscilla; Penelope married Jonathan DIXON; Catherine married Moses SMITH; Isabel; and Mary married Edward BYRD.
# Charles - b. about 1704, Chowan Co., NC. He resided in Chowan Co. and the Roquist Island area of Bertie Co., NC. Charles married Elizabeth VANN, probably daughter of William. Children: 'Roquist' Henry married; William married his cousin Elizabeth KING (daughter of Henry, granddaughter of Henry); and Charles married first Judah, and second Elizabeth GARDNER, daughter of Martin.
# Henry - b. about 1707, Chowan Co., NC; d. about 1750, NC. Purchased 100 acres of land at the mouth of the Cashie River, Bertie Co., NC on Mar. 25, 1725, and another 541 acres on Cypress Swamp May 28, 1728. Additional land transactions are found in Bertie Co., NC. Henry married Elizabeth PARKER of Bertie Co., NC. Children: Elizabeth married first her cousin William KING (son of Charles, grandson of Henry), and second Martin DWYER; Amelia married Joseph PARKER (d. 1798); and Ann married Joseph SPEIGHT (d. 1792).
