of William Rousseau mentions daughters Susannah Payne, Nancy
Peters, Margaret Combs and sons Henry, John and William. Also
mentioned are sons-in-law John Peters, Benjamin Payne and Ennice
Combs and granddaughter Betzey Karr and wife Priscilla. Will
probated 23 Jul 1798. records name William as son of Hillaire
and Elizabeth(Lynton) Rousseau.
"I'm not sure about the order of birth of children listed for
William. I took their names from his will. All information
concerning descendants of William Rousseau-6 was taken from his
will mentioned above. (Wayne Rousseau-7 Jan 1989)"
"21 Jun 1996. I received info from Alfred Whitehead in
Henderson, Tx. that has conflicting information about the order
of birth of the children of this William Rousseau. However, it
has dates listed for their birth so I will put them in that
order."
!MISC: I cannot attest to the accuracy of any information
concerning the descendants of this William Rousseau. I have only
recorded it as I have received it from various sources. (Wayne
