Long Illness Proves Fatal to Native of Mississippi
James Wilson Bell, aged 72, 2221 Jefferson Avenue, died last
night at his residence, following a lingering illness. Mr Bell
had resided in Memphis seven years. He was a native of
Mississippi.
Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Flournoy Bell, and
four daughters, Mrs. H.P. Hurt, Mrs. E. M. Carr, Mrs. R. L.
Campbell, and Mrs. Whitfield King.
The body will be sent to Pontotoc, Miss., on Thursday morning,
where funeral and burial services will be held. J. T. Hinton &
Son have charge of the arrangements.
