Mary, Elizabeth, Delilah, Walter Lindsay, Thomas Llewellyn,
Clory, and Frances.
Mary married William Pettit and raised her family in Portsmouth,
VA. They appear in the 1850, 1860, etc. census.
Frances Penn married Thomas Gates and appears in the 1850 Census
with her husband, young family and her mother living in their
household.
I am having problems identifying her other brothers and sisters.
Did they stay in Alexandria and Fairfax?
I am picking up this thread from my grandmother's research in
the 1920's. She did fairly good research, but did not leave me
her documentation, just the information itself, and let's face
it, the records were not in as good condition, indexing, etc.,
as they are now.
She thought Delilah was from Frederick Co., MD, but I have not
proved this point. She states that they were married in Fairfax
Co.
