Looking for information about John Penn b: Mar 5, 1800 in
Baltimore Maryland and brother William W. Penn born abt. 1808
Maryland. Their parents were said to be from England so I am
looking, among other things for information to who their parents
are and if there are any other siblings. It seems there are
several Penns out there with the same names which makes the hunt
that much more interesting.
John and William ( maybe other family members also) moved to
Virginia around 1822 or 23. It is said that John lived for a
short time in Pennsylvania as a coopers apprentice at age 21.
John married Mary Chamblin (b:1800 VA) Sept.25, 1823 and they
had their first six children in Virginia (Elizabeth, William,
Rebecca, Mary, John and Deborah). Sometime before Oct 15, 1835
they moved to Ohio where they had 4 more children (Mariah,
George, Mahlon and Ezekiel). Counties were Loudoun, Richland and
Morrow.
Other wives of John are Anzy Dyre and first wifes sister Nancy
Chamblin.
