present in Court for probate; the Court being satisfied that it
is the handwriting of the said decedent ordered the same

Executors therein named, a Certificate for obtaining a probate
there of is granted her, Oath Administered, bond acknowledged
and ordered to be recorded.

the sd. Tayloe by Thomas Poole, and whereas, a suit to foreclose
the sd. Mortgage, and a judgment has been obtained in
Spotsylvania Co. Court in June, 1772, failure having been made
by the sd. Poole in paying the sd. indebtedness, and in
consequence the sd. Smith, as Sheriff, sold the sd. land in lots
and parcels, the sd. Poole pu-chasing 180 a. thereof for the sum
of £101 5s. curr. Conveyance of same herein, etc. Witnesses,

deeds were made to him by the sd. Dixon), being possessed
thereof, assigned and made over unto Presley Thornton and Wm.
Fitzhugh, Esqrs., all his right, title, etc., and whereas, the
trustees having agreed with the sd. Jones and Woodford for the
sale of the lots, and having also made satisfaction to the sd.
Lucy Dixon for her right and claim of Dower therein, the sd.

his lifetime and during the coverture of the sd. Elizabeth,
seized of a tract of land in Spotsylvania Co., containing 3333
a. and is the same tract whereon sd. Dangerfield now lives, the
sd. Elizabeth being entitled to 1/3 part thereof, after the
death of sd. Henry Willis, etc., the sd. Elizabeth, having
remained seized thereof ever since, etc. Sd. Thornton and
Elizabeth, his wife, convey to sd. Dangerfield the sd.
Elizabeth's dower in the sd. tract, in consideration of £200
