They had one son, William and seven daughters.
Thomas was probably born in Ireland and as a youth came to
America with his parents. He was grown in 1742, as he owned a
lot in Kingstree at that time. he later received a grant in the
Black Mingo Area, 200 acres. His son William and all other
known Scott men of his generation were members of Marion's
Brigade in the Rev. War. One of them, Lt. Joseph Scott was
severely wounded. A Samuel Scott is listed as appraiser on Mary
Scott McCutchen's husbands estate in 1826.
