Velinda was married first to a Mr. Thomas of VA and she had a son Benoni. In her will of 1675 she leaves bequests to him, to Mary Doyne and to son John still a minor.


Verlinda personally wrote to Lord Calvert when her husband was captured by the Puritans.


Verlinda Graves (4) was born about 1618 in Va., and died 13 July 1675 in Charles Co., Md. She married William Stone before 1640, perhaps about 1634 in VA. He was born about 1603, and died 21 Dec.1660 in Charles Co., Md.
