From what I can find out Mary Austin was the wife of Moses
Austin her name was Maria Brown Austin they had 2 sons Stephen
Austin and James Austin and a daughter.
I had the deed copied at the court house and decided to go to
the library the lady working there was very helpful and
surprised to see the deed shes the one who said Mary Austin was
the wife of Moses Austin.
From what I can find on the internet Maria Brown Austin was
called Mary.
I don't know if this was just a land sale or maybe Sally or
Hezekiah was connected to the family. So far I haven't made any
connection.
In the land description these names appear William Hails land
Robert Estes and his son Banard Estes, Smith Estes and it looks
like Terre Blew. And it mentions on the waters of Fern Blue.
Smith Estes wife was a Cunningham. His Father listed as Robert
Robin Estes his mother is Oney Harris.
One the slaves was named Austin Purl.
