I, William BRADLEY of Elbert County, do hereby make my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. That is to say -
First I desire that immediately after my decease as much of the personal part of my Estate be sold as will satisfy all my just debts and funeral expenses -
Secondly I give and devise unto my beloved wife Elizabeth BRADLEY the tract of land & plantation whereon I now live. Also, all of my Stock of every kind & household furniture that is now in my possession on during her life & at her death to be equally divided between Elizabeth UPSHAW, Martha OGLESBY, Lucy CHRISTIAN and Drury BRADLEY after paying of the Legacies hereafter mentioned. I also give and bequeath unto my beloved wife one Negro girl named GENCY to dispose of as she thinks fit -


I also give & bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth BRADLEY five Negroes ____
-- ROBIN, PETER, JUIN, RACHEL & NAN - during her life & that at her death to be equally divided amongst all my children excepting Mary JOHNSON -


I give and bequeath into my daughter Mary JOHNSON thirty dollars to be paid her by my executors hereafter named, out of that part of my Estate that is to be divided amongst my other four children.

___I give and devise unto my daughter Elizabeth UPSHAW the tract of land whereon she now lives to dispose of at her discretion. Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth UPSHAW all my stock of every kind together with the household furniture that she now has in her possession to dispose of as she thinks fit -


I also give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth UPSHAW two Negro women named JENNEY & PHILLIS to dispose of as she thinks fit.
___I give and bequeath to my daughter Martha OGLESBY one negro man named JAMES.
___I lend to my son in law Thomas JOHNSON and Mary JOHNSON his wife six negros ___ JUPETER, RACHEL, BEN, JAMES, ROBIN, & NAN until George STOVALL, son to.to Mary JOHNSON becomes of age or marries then to be equally divided between Mary JOHNSON & her son George STOVALL. & the one half I give and bequeath to my Grandson George STOVALL and if he he dies without heir his part of the said negroes to return into my Estate and the whole of the six negroes & their increase to be lent to Thomas JOHNSON and Mary THOMPSON his wife Endureing their lives & at their death the part
that remains or fall into the hands of trustees here after named to be equally divided amongst all Mary JOHNSON’s children except George STOVALL.


To be left in the hands of Thomas OGLESBY, James CHRISTIAN & John STAPLES
as trustees for the benefit of Thomas JOHNSON & Mary JOHNSON his wife.
___I give and bequeath to my daughter Lucy CHRISTIAN one negro man named STEPHEN.
___I give and bequeath to my son Drury BRADLEY one negro man named JACOB.
Also I give and bequeath to my son Drury BRADLEY Eighty Three dollars to be paid him by my executors hereafter named out of that part of my Estate that is to be divided amongst my four children Elizabeth UPSHAW, Martha OGLESBY, Lucy CHRISTIAN & Drury BRADLEY.


And Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friends John STAPLES, Thomas OGELSBY & James CHRISTIAN Executors
of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all wills heretofore made by me. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twelfth day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred & Ninety Nine -

I, William BRADLEY of Elbert County, do this Twenty First day of January One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Nine Make and Publish this Codicil to my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say, I give and bequeath to my Granddaughter Nancy GREENWOOD one negro girl named SUSANNA - I give & bequeath to my Granddaughter Martha GREENWOOD one negro boy named JAMES, if she dies without heir then to fall to her mother Elizabeth UPSHAW to give as she thinks fit. And lastly, it is my desire that this my present codicil be annexed to and made a part of my last Will and Testament to all intents and purposes - in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year as above and in the presence of
