Bible of Thomas Lenoir, Sr owned in 1930 by Mrs. Annie Lenoir Cassety of Beulah, Miss. this data from a fly leaf of the Bible of William Lenoir of Wilkes Co, NC: Thomas Lenoir Sr. who married Mourning Crawley left a will in Edgecombe Co., NC which was probated at the July Court 1765. Book A, p. 147. The will shows the daughters married names: Ann Westmoreland, Mary Perry, Leah Whitaker.

George Penn III is believed to have been the George Penn acting as an executor of his grandmother Ann Fleming (Penn) Dudley's estate, in the interest of his deceased father's (George Penn II) children, as George II had died prior to Ann. As most of his siblings were in Amherst Co. when this will was proved and as it was not contested, George III legally or otherwise, acted on the part of his father. Uncles Abraham, and Philip and possibly aunt Frances had moved to Patrick Co., with uncle Gabriel remaining in Amhurst Co. >From the will of his uncle Philip Penn; ........I do hereby constitute and appoint my Loving Son Wilson Penn, and my Nephew George Penn, my Lawfull Executors to this my last Will & Testatment.....19th day of Nov 1802.
