Joyce Farris writes: On George's pension application he states
that they came to Al from GA on Dec. 20, 1859. I think this
date could be 1857 since their youngest daughter Nancy Celestia
was born April 1859 in Walker Co., AL and too Nancy Davis
Bonner's brother David M. Davis came to AL in Dec. 1857. George
M. was wounded in the arm at the battle of Selma, March
31st,1865. He was struck with a saber.
