"Robert Anderson to David Anderson 23 June 1752 100 acres Louisa County (formed in 1742) adj Charles Barrett

David 08/16/1756 Louisa Co 400a both sides of Lickinghole Creek 33/119

There is some dispute over the correct parentage of David. He is not identified in the St. Paul parish precessioning records with the Robert Anderson family. Edward L. Anderson believed him to be Robert's son, William Pope Anderson was not sure. If the reader wishes to be very cautious, you might look closely at the King William County Anderson family to see if he connects there. But as the Robert I have as his father married an Overton, and David's sons was David Overton Anderson, I plan to leave him here until I find evidence to the contrary."
