One group that I will refer to as DURHAM-R, seems to identify
itself with England in the “Recent Ethnic Origin” database. This
group is in Haplogroup
Another DURHAM family that does not match any of the DURHAM-R
men will be called DURHAM-J. As a group DURHAM-J seems to
identify itself with Scotland in the “Recent Ethnic Origin”
database. This group is in Haplogroup J2.
So we have two groups of men named DURHAM that do not match 12
of 12 markers in the test. The DNA test is so different that for
thousands of years and many generations there is not a common
ancestor.
In the Durham-R group are four men including me, Marshall
Durham, Kit 20211.
