"Moses fought in the Revolutionary War under Captain Thomas Drew
and Colonel John Nicholas, going first to Richmond, and then to
Williamsburg, etc. He was at Yorktown when Lord Cornwallis
surrendered, according to an affidavit he made on October 14,
1841. The affidavit stated that he was present when his brother,
Noah Flood was wounded and permanently disabled, the purpose
being to establish the claim for Sarah Flood, widow of Noah
Flood, for a pension for military service rendered by Noah
Flood. Moses Flood was a Baptist Minister. [Taken from a report
sent to be by Connie Rush]"
