Becky, I have seen your listing on the internet, yet cannot
connect to what I have from tradition in my family regarding the
descendents of William Penn....perhaps you could help, and my
information may add to yours, since my Penn's were in Virginia.
I have been told that William Penn (founder of PA) & Gulielma
Springett had 2 sons named Greenville & Granville, both born in
England.
Granville settled in New Jersey, Greenville in Maryland on
Ocomock Creek just across the river from his brother. Granville
had 5 sons, Bedford, Greenville, Wilson, Clark & Moses.
Bedford had a son named Abraham, born in Bedford Co., VA.
Abraham's son George was born 1770 in Patrick Co., VA...his son
Abram (b.5-20-1801), also in Patrick Co., VA.
Abram married Delphine Lorreins, they lived in Covington, LA
where their daughter Sarah Lucinda Penn was born in 1826.
She was my great great grandmother. Anything you could add to
this would be greatly appreciated...would be glad to exchange
any info I have. Looking forward to hearing from you. Coleen
