Stephen Compton of Charles County , Maryland, planter, and Mary,
his wife, formerly Mary Warren, to Zachariah Compton of same
place, planter, sum of 10 shillings consideration, "all that
tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in County
aforesaid, and known by the name of Warren's Discovery,
containing by estimation 280 acres of land more or less, which
said tract of land was devised to the said Mary by her father
John Warren..." to hold said tract of land during the natural
life of Zachariah Compton "and to or for no other use
whatsoever." Witness John Winters and Robert Horney.
