WARNING: info showing that Ann Moore, dau of William m. Charles
Tyler b abt 1710, is erroneous info! - see ID 45927 for the
Charles that Anne Moore did marry. LDS: (AFN:MTCM-3M) and,
also states this error: "thus Charles Tyler, of Cameron Parish,
Loudoun Co., who married Anne Moore, died there about 1768, his
estates was appraised April 12, 1768".
"In 1769 he (William Whitely) witnessed the will of Ann(e)
Tyler, widow of Charles Tyler. Charles had died intestate in
1768. His wife Ann died 1769 and left a fairly detailed will
(WB A 215), listing her children and the disposition of her
estate. The children were: John, Susannah, Anne, Charles,
Benjamin, William and Spence. Except for John, all were minors.
In the accounting of Ann Tyler's will provisions (WB B 61), John
had already received his inheritance; William received one
slave; Susannah received support through 1770; Spence was
schooled through 1772; Ann received support through 1774; and
the two youngest boys, Charles and Benjamin, schooling and
support through 1776. From this it seems likely that Susanna
Tyler and William Whitely set up housekeeping about 1770-1772.
In the 1774 Tithe List for Loudoun County, William Tyler was
listed in the household of William Whitely, his presumed
brother-in-law".
