Archibald-4 Tutt (Richard-3, Richard-2, Richard-1) was mentioned
as the second son in the Will of his father who died in the year
1771. He was married by the year 1793 in which year James
Pendleton of Culpeper County made his Will which was probated 31
October 1793, in which he bequeathed to his daughter Catherine
Tutt 20 schillings with what she already had....
This Catherine Pendleton-Tutt survived until the year 1818
leaving issue:
Thomas, Archibald, James, Richard, William Pendleton, Peggy,
Matilda, Polly and Kitty Bowie
Tutt some of whose descendents still live in Culpeper County.
There is no record of the death of Archibald Tutt so that he may
have removed to some other state after the death of his wife.
Many of the family removed to the same southern states and some
to those in the middle west.
