The Flournoy family in both its branches, Jacob and John James, have already been printed by the Virginia Magazine of History. Many of them live in Kentucky. Mosby-Benjamin Mosby, died about 1774. His will, recorded in Cumberland; lived also in Goochland; father of Littleberry Mosby, of
"Font Hill;" Powhatan, who was a member of Cumberland Com. Of Safety, 1775, and Company Lieutenant of Powhatan, 1880-81.


Nethlerlands, of Goochland-Littleberry Mosby's first wife, August 1748, as Elizabeth Netherland.


William Cannon, of "Mt. Ida," Buckingham County (nearpresent New Canton, P.O.), called Col. Cannon, came to Tennessee about 1807, died near Princeton, Kentucky, about 1820. His first wife, Sarah, was Col.Littleberry Mosby's daughter; the second Miss Cocke.


The Rivers family of Brunswick, Lunenburg, and Greenville Counties - William Rivers died testate in March 1809, in Brunswick, leaving sons: John and William, who came to Giles County, Tennessee, as boys in 1813.
