Other relatives are Orin?: A hymnal given to my gf Wm in 1825 by his brother John, then by Wm to his son, my gf, John R. who bequeathed it to his son J.W. H. in 1850 ended up in the hands of O. M. Collinsworth. John R. d. in 1859 in Jackson Parish just over the parish line from Friendship where the other family of Collinsworths lived. An old hymn book. "The Sacred Songster, or a Collection of Hymns and Spiritual Songs, for the Use of Religious Assemblies" by Amos Pilsbury, pub in 1811 is in the possession of the family of William David Collinsworth of Friendship, LA. They knew not why or how they had it.

Written in the hymal:

"This book was given to me by my brother John Collinsworth (Rev in GA). It is never to be sold, no not for a thousand dollars, and I now give it to my son John R. Collinsworth, neither is he ever to sell it. Nov. 6, 1825 /s/ William Collinsworth."

"At my death this book is bequeathed to my son John William Hodges Collinsworth earnestly hoping that he may be as good a man as his grandfather Wm Collinsworth or his Uncle John Collinsworth. He is never to part from it no not for a thousand dollars. Jan. 6th A.D. 1850 /s/ J. R. Collinsworth. Above all my son fear God read his Book. J.R.C.

"Transferred September the 9th 1884 from O.M. Collinsworth to N.C. Collinsworth.
M. A. Collinsworth was Borned August the 23, 1876.

J. H. Collinsworth was Borned January the 26, 1878. "

Orin M. Collinsworth and Maranza Loe: brought his family to Bienville, parish, SE of Shreveport about 1855, coming from Clarke Co. MS. he was b May 1 1816 NC, and d. July 27, 1890. his wife Maranza Loe b Robeson Co. NC May 22, 1820, d. 1863. One source said that Orin Moses was a son of William, who was in St. Helena in 1819 where he married Ann Hodges. He would not be a son of Ann Hodges, therefore, Wm may have been married previously and had a son.
