Mary WALLER + Elijah WIGGLESWORTH
1 Maria Roy b: ABT. 1795 d: BEF. 31 JUL 1826 + Joseph Waller d:
BEF. 1825
2 Betsy M. Waller
2 Maria J. B. Waller
2 Casandra Waller
2 C.C.E. D. Waller
2 Frances M. Waller
2 Eubelia Waller b: ABT. 1823
2 Almira Waller
The will of Joseph's father, Benjamin, specifically names the
children of Joseph by his
last wife. There is no punctuation in the list and I have
interperted the names as: Betsy M., Maria J.B., Casandra, CCED,
Frances M., Eubelia, Almira.
I have found Eubelia living with Mary D. Wiglesworth, but I have
not been able to locate
the other individuals. Father Benjamin's will also mentioned
Mary D. Wiglesworth and Nancy Waller as grandchildren but he did
not specify their parents. I did figured out Mary D. Waller
Wiglesworth is Joseph's child and Eubelia's half sister.
In the 1870 census, a William Waller is living in the household
of Absalom Wigglesworth and his mother Mary D. Wigglesworth. An
online abstract of records from the city of Fredericksburg shows
he was dead by 1825.
Joseph's death date estimated and based on the City of
Fredericksburg's online abstract of court record data, Grady vs
Waller, recorded 1825, collection CR-SC-H, ID 113-14, in which
Joseph Waller is indicated as deceased.
In Howard vs Sale, recorded 1826, collection CR-SC-H, ID 123-11,
Joseph Waller identified as deputy sheriff, deceased.
