A. G. Herndon came to Kentucky with his father and was reared to
farming, and now owns 557 acres of good land in Garrard County
near Lancaster, on which he now resides. His wife's maiden name
was Nancy B. Pollard and he became the father of three children:
Lucie Anderson, Betty Anderson and Nancy Jane Herndon, who died
aged three years and four months. Mr. and Mrs. Herndon are
members of the
Christian Church and in politics he is a Democrat.
