It is known that Joseph Motley had a daughter named Ann Hundley
and she is generally identified as the wife of Charles Hundley
because Joseph Motley once sold land to Charles Hundley, but I
am by no means certain. Joseph gave land to some other
sons-in-laws, but the deed to Charles Hundley was a sale.
Furthermore, if Ann Motley was Charles Hundley's wife she may
have been too young to be the mother of his oldest children
including Anthony and Charles who migrated to Washington Co.,
Ky. So this matter remains unclear."
