NORWOOD CEMETERY A copy of the following survey is on file at
the Darlington County Historical Commission. It was surveyed by
Mr. Horace F. Rudisill in 1986. Location-Near junction of Road
25 and 112 Approximately 1.6 miles from Flinn's Crossroads
Surveyed circa 1985:
"Memorial to Theophilus Norwood circa 1725, died 1792, wife
Margaret Dawson, progenitors of Darlington County Norwoods...
1760 purchased land and settled north side of Swift Creek
....logically first interment."
