John Phelps and Wm Callaway (b 1714) were Bedford Co's 1st reps
in VA's House of Burgesses so some think that John might
possibly have married William's sister, Mary though I think it's
just conjecture.
My interest lies in some maternal ancestors of mine that
intermarried with the Phelps family in KY, and others that lived
next door to the Phelps family in Bedford Co (The Woodsons and
Pleasants). Lots of other Quaker connections too like the
Meadors and Hollands!
Might you have the parents of Mary Admire, who m James Turner?
