Arden Evans, a son of Arden Evans, Sr., and his wife, Susannah,
went from Virginia to Roane County, Tennessee. He drew a pension
there for services in the Revolution, as a Virginia soldier. He
was born in 1755, and was therefore a younger brother of M.
William Evans, who, with two other brothers, David and Elijah
Evans, emigrated to Wilkes County Georgia. The name "Elijah
Evans" in Roane County marriages is significant. Arden Evans'
Will is not recorded at Kingston, Roane County.
All available documentary information of Arden Evans, of East
Tennessee, follows: Richmond, Virginia, State Library: "Orden
(Arden) Evans--Private--annual allowance--20.00 sums, received
