Mr. and Mrs. James Cunningham have returned to the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Maude Veon of R. D. 2 where they will reside after a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls and points in Canada.

The couple was united in marriage Saturday night August 21 in the home of the bride's grandmother by Rev. D. J. Blasdell, pastor of the Methodist church.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of nylon tulle over satin, fashioned with a high collar and waltz length skirt, A tiara of seed pearls held her finger tip veil of nylon tulle and she carried a white Bible, centered with an orchid.

Zelda Kay Clark was her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a waltz length gown of green nylon with matching hat and carried a colonial bouquet of yellow rosebuds.

Betty Jane Miller, R. D. 2. Cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.

Wayne Cunningham of Wampum R. D. 1 served his brother as best man.

The bride, the former Rose Marie Clark is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs Charles Clark of Wampum R. D. 2 and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cunningham of Wampum R. D. 1.

A reception for the couple was held after the ceremony with Mrs. Edward Gerhardt and Mrs. Charles Downs cousins of the bride, cutting the wedding cake which was served to 125 including guests from East Liverpool, O., and La Belle, Butler, New Castle and Ellwood City.

Jerry Sanders presided at the punchbowl and Nancy Cunningham sister of the bridegroom and Audrey White served the coffee. The hostesses were Mrs. Agnes Guy, Mrs. Lauretta Kelly and Miss Lorraine Thewes with Mrs. William Sparezeri, of La Belle, and Miss Marilyn Veon, of New Castle, both cousins of the bride, aided the serving.

John Scott is the name chosen by Mr. and Mrs. James Cunningham of Ellwood City for the son born to them July 9 in the Jameson Hospital, New Castle.
The mother is the former Rose Marie Clark, daughter of Mr.. and Mrs. Charles Clark of Wampum and the father is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cunningham of Ellwood City, RD.
