James Kenneth Younkin. 43, Confluence, R. D., died Feb. 13 at the Veteran's Hospital, Altoona. He was born July 21, 1919 in Kingwood, a son of the late John B. Younkin and Mrs. Lottie Firestone Younkin of Confluence.
Other survivors include his wife, the former Thelma Howard: two daughters, Beverly Kay and Debra Lynn: a son, Kenneth Ray, all at home; seven brothers, StantonMetz, Carl, Charles and Ross Younkin, all of Confluence: Harry, Lafayette, nd; William, with the U.S. Army in Freece; Robert, Oklahoma; five sisters Mrs. Elsie Travis, Sandusky, Ohio; Mrs. Evelyn Johnson, Falls Church. Va.; Mrs. Dorothy Kegley, Hyattsville, Md.; Mrs. Rose Tangeman, Dover, Del., and Mrs. Irma Pellegrino, Miami, Fla.
Mr. Younkin was a member of the Confluence VFW.     
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at Humbert Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, by the
Rev. Jacob Duty. Interment will follow in Jersey Cemetery.
