George C. LeCrone, Jr., 45, of Florence, Ky., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Ky., due to diabetic complications.
An avid Steelers fan, he remained a close follower of Pittsburgh sports. He was employed by Tank Transit System of Northern Kentucky. Born Feb. 22, 1967, he attended Ellwood City Schools and Riverside High School before moving to Hebron, Ky., and was a 1985 graduate of Conner High School in Hebron. His parents, George C. LeCrone, Sr. (Anna Marie) of Knoxville, Tenn. and mother, Melanie Blake of Florence, Ky. survive. A sister, Veronica Hall, passed away in 2010.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy; sons, Corey and Bret, at home, Christopher and Gary Michael LeCrone, Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Tabitha (Chris) Johnson, Loudon, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Kaylee and Alexia; brothers, Kenneth C. (April) LeCrone, Falmouth, Ky.; Jason E. (Karen) LeCrone, Florence, Ky.; Charles J. Hall, Ellwood City and Daytona, Fla., and William J. (Cindy) Hall, Newport, Tenn., and sister, Patricia (Dennis) Boots, Powell, Tenn.
Visitation was held Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, Ky., with Blessing Service by Father David Gann of St. Paul Catholic Church, Florence, Ky. Burial followed at Morgan Cemetery, Falmouth, Ky.
