INDIANA - Walter D. Rinehart Jr., 73, of Indiana, died Tuesday, May 12, 1998, at his residence.
Born Jan. 7, 1925, in Clearfield, he was a son of the late Walter Sr. and Effie (Pearce) Rinehart.
Mr. Rinehart was a retired welder with over 40 years service.
He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union No. 354 and LOOM No. 97 since 1953.
He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Ann Sellers; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Barbara) Rothrock of Clearfield and Mrs. Joseph (Margie) Miller of Casteonia; three granddaughters and a grandson.
He is also survived by a brother, Francis Rinehart of Lewistown; and a sister, Alice Howell of Curwensville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Vivian English; and a brother, Calvin.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., Johnstown, with the Rev. Barron K. Deffenbaugh officiating.
Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
