Speelman, Lillian E.

Lillian E. Speelman, 88, of Ellwood City, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 29, 2002, in Jameson Health System, New Castle.

Born Feb. 1, 1914, in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Leroy and Stella Mamie Robison Solomon, she was a licensed practical nurse at Rochester and Providence Hospitals and in private duty, retiring in 1974. She was a former member of the Beaver Falls Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Speelman, on April 23, 1991; a daughter, Stella Crego, in 1971, and a great-grandson, Dino Martinez, in 1981.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, J. Ronald and Margie Speelman, Beaver Falls, and Jerald Lloyd and Betty Speelman, New Brighton; three daughters, Cleo Deanna Herr, Spring Lake, N.C.; Edith Kaye and her husband, James Henderson, Beaver Falls, and Vicci Suellen and her husband, Butch Cantois, Ellwood City, with whom she resided; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, two brothers and six sisters.

Friends will be received Monday, April 1, from 7 p.m. until the time of service at 8:30 p.m. in the SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1901 Seventh Ave., BEAVER FALLS. Pastor Donald W. MacNeil of the Church of the Nazarene, New Brighton, will officiate.

Private interment will be in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
