Pearl L. Firestone , 93, of Youngwood, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, in Westview Manor, Apollo. She was born Monday, June 9, 1919, in Youngwood, daughter of the late Charles N. Yarnell and the late Gertrude E. (Delozier) Yarnell.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, of Youngwood, and Golden Rod Lodge.
Surviving are a son, L. Ray Firestone and wife, Kathy, of Leechburg; two grandchildren, Lisa Lane and husband, Norman, of Shiloh, N.C., and Keith Firestone , of Leechburg; and a sister, Geraldine Paulone, of Jeannette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo J. Firestone ; two brothers, Bob and Charles Yarnell; and a sister, Eldamae Hoover.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, with the Rev. Bererly Gross officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillview Cemetery, Greensburg. Contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Youngwood, or the Youngwood Library.
