Mary Belle Foreman, 81, of Zelienople, formerly of Harmony , died Monday at Ellwood City Hospital.

Born Nov. 16, 1923, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of Gustavus and Ida Kaufman Ziegler .

Mrs. Foreman was a member of the Grace Church, Harmony , where she was the former secretary. She also belonged to the Harmony Historical Society.

She was an avid gardener and an accomplished quilter and crocheter.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan K. Foreman of Vernon, N.Y.; a son, Mark A. Foreman and his wife, Carrie Haggerman, of York; and a sister, Sarah Regal of Zelienople.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Foreman, who died Jan. 20, 1985; and five brothers, Abraham, Charles, Edward, Henry and Howard Ziegler .

FOREMAN - Friends of Mary Belle Foreman, who died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME

324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Church of Harmony , 538 Main St., Harmony , with the Rev. Peter Everett officiating. Everyone is to meet at the church. Private burial will follow at Pinewood Memorial Gardens, Cranberry Township.
