News/Obit* 30 March 1911  Little Beaver Cemetery, Little Beaver Twp., Lawrence Co., PA,

Unity township lost one of its oldest residents on Thursday, March 23, in the death of Mrs. Charlotte Long at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Wilson on North market Street. While in feeble health for some years, the direct cause of her death was a general breaking down that became very noticeable about a week before her death. Funeral services, conducted by her pastor Rev. w. P. Hollister occurred from the late home on Saturday morning, with burial at Little Beaver Cemetery. Charlotte Greenamyer was born Feb. 18, 1818 on a farm in the northern part of this township. Her parents had migrated here from Westmoreland County, PA and the subject of this sketch was one of the 12 children, all of whom are now dead but Mrs. Eliza Heck of near Columbiana, who is a woman in the eighties. In October 1849 occurred the marriage of Charlotte Greenamyer to Israel Long and subsequently they moved over into Lawrence County, PA where a great part of her life was spent. There she joined the Little Beaver Presbyterian Church in which for years she was active,. In 1895 here husband died and she removed to the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Wilson in this township. Of the six children born to this union, the daughter above mentioned in s the only survivor. Two half sisters, Mrs. W. C. Wallace and Maria Long survive. [meaning, half sisters of Charlotte’s children.] Deceased was a woman of excellent qualities of mind and heart. Domestic in her tastes, she was ever concerned in the welfare of the lives of those around her. Among the out of town friends at the funeral were Mrs. Raley of Signal, David Stouffer, W. O. Wallace, Misses Alexander and Kuntz, of Columbiana, Mrs. Wilson of Enon, and the Coblentz family of Darlington.
