The Mining Your History Foundation was formed in April 1995 by a committee of West Virginians with three goals in mind: networking among similar organizations throughout the state dissemination of information about WV groups on a national level support of the West Virginia State Archives with donations and volunteer hours

We want to connect all of West Virginia's Genealogical, Historical Societies and Associations. We need each other! We will co-sponsor events and keep you informed about projects around the state. Let us showcase your projects at national events!
