He was married in 1553, in Wrotham, Kent, England, to Elizabeth Wilsforde, who was born in 1517, in Crenbrook, Kent, England, and died 15 April 1550, in Wrotham.
William Clerke, son of George Clerke and Elizabeth Wilsford, was born in 1535, and died 23 March 1611, in Wrotham, Kent, England.
He was married in 1559 to Anna Cartwright, who was born in 1535, in Wrotham, Kent, England, and died 21 June 1585, in England.
Edmund Cartwright was born in 1512, and died in 1554, in Ossington, Nottinghamshire, England.
Agnes Crammer was born in 1491, in Aslocton, Warron, Norringhamshire, England, and died 18 August 1557 in Ossongham.

Thomas Moorman II, son of Elizabeth Clark and Thomas Moorman, was born in 1593 in Isle of Wight, England. He visited the colony Virginia from aboard the vessel �Bonna Nova� in 1619.
He was married 11 November 1620, to Ida Brading, who was born in 1593, in England, and died in 1620, on Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England.
Zachariah Moorman I, son of Thomas Moorman II, and Ida Brading, was born the same year his mother died in 1620 on the Isle of Wight in England.
In 1639 he was a Captain in Cromwells Army and fought in Ireland After the subjugation of that country, he lived there for several years.
He was married about 1641 in Belfast, Ireland, to Mary Ann Chandler, daughter of Lt. William Chandler II, and Anne Cooke Villlers.
Sir George High Leicestershire Villiers, was born 1545, in Bronkesby, Leicestershire, England, and died 4 January 1603, in England
His wife, Audrey Saunders was born in 1547, in Harrington, Northumberland, England, and died 1 May 1588, in England.
Sir Edward Villiers, Knight Marshall, was born in 1574, in Bronkesby, Leicestershire England, and died 7 September 1626, in Youghal, 5298, Ireland
Later he returned to the Isle of Wight but sympathized with King Charles I. When Cromwell had the King beheaded, Zachariah Moorman was exiled from from the British Isles.
The first authentic record of any Moorman to come to America is the entry of the family of Zachariah Moorman.
In 1639 he was a Captain in Cromwells Army and fought in Ireland. and married Mary Ann Chandler, in 1657 in Belfast. In 1669 he with his wife, two sons, Thomas and Charles, and daughter Sally Ann embarked at South Hampton, England, on the ship Glasgow and sailed to Barbodo., West Indies."
In the spring of 1669, Zachariah, his sons Thomas and Charles, daughter Sally Ann, and Michael and Margaret Clark (with their sons, Micajah, Francis, Edward, Roger, William Thomas, and Christopher) and David Terrell, embarked at Southampton, England, in the ship �Glasgow� and sailed to Barbadoes, West Indies.
Early the next year, the Moormans, and Micajah and Sally Ann Clark, joined the emigrants who passed Barbadoes on their way to South Carolina, and landed with them near the site of Charleston, being the first permanent colony in South Carolina. During the same year (1671) the Moorman and Clark families proceeded to Virginia and settled in Nansemond County
Thomas Moorman was a vestry-man in the Episcopal Church there in the same year. He was in New Kent County, in 1686-1689. Zachariah died about 1702 in Nansemond County, Virginia. The Clark and Thomas Moorman families probably settled some years later, on the James River in Virginia. Charles and Elizabeth Moorman settled near Green Spring, in Louisa County, Virginia, about 1704.
Zachariah died in 1671, in Nansemond County, Virginia; Mary Ann died in January 1679, on the Isle of Wight, England.

Thomas Moorman, son of Zachariah Moorman and Mary Ann Chandler, was born 1649 on the Isle of Wight, England., and died 1705 in Green Springs, new Kent, Virginia He married about 1683, Isle of Wight, Hampshire Eng. to Elizabeth (Micajah) Simpson, who was born about 1660, Isle of Wight, and died after 1700.
Children:
Andrew Moorman, son of Thomas Moorman (2) and Elizabeth Simpson, was baptized 4 November 1689, St Peter�s Parish, New Kent County, Virginia.
In 1716, he occupied brother Charles� property on Whyting Swamp. In 1725 he bought 400 acres in Henrico County (Virginia?) In November 1729 he purchased 280 acres of land in Hanover County, Virginia. In 1740 he sold some of Goochland County, property, moving to Brunswick County, Virginia. He went to Anson County, North Carolina about 1749.
He had at least two wives: Ann Diggs, whom he may have married about 1710 and Sally Clark married about 1737 in either Virginia or North Carolina; there is also a source which names a wife named Susan or Susanna, named on property sold by Andrew in 1726, 1728, & 1729. Her surname may have been Reynolds

Zachariah Moorman II, son of Andrew Moorman, was born 1742 in Brunswick County, Virginia.
He was married three times. The first wife is not known. His second wife, married in 1774, the mother of his children was Mary Matthew, who was born about 1750, and died before 22 July 1819, North Carolina. They moved their family from Deep River Monthly Meeting, to Cane Creek Monthly Meeting, South Carolina in June 1798. His third wife was Nancy ___. He died in 1819, in Ohio.

Uriah Moorman, son of Zachariah Moorman II and Mary Matthews, was born 6 August 1785 in North Carolina.
He was married/1 20 November 1806 at Piney Grove Monthly Meeting, North Carolina, to Hannah Mendenhall, born 9 June 1782, daughter of Stephen Mendenhall and Elizabeth ____ of Richmond County, North Carolina. (See: Mendenhall Family-Part III)
They were living at Cane Creek Monthly Meeting, Marlborough County, South Carolina, when the first three children were born.
Hannah died 16 March 1818, about 3 weeks after Betsy was born, and is buried in New Garden, North Carolina.
Uriah was married/2, in New Garden, 22 July 1819 to Elizabeth Morris, who was born 17 September 1790, daughter of Thomas Morris and Sarah Musgrove (See: Morris family, Part IV)
Uriah was living in 1836 when daughter Polly was married. Elizabeth died 21 December 1848, in Howard County, Indiana, and was buried in Union Civil Cemetery.
