1. Mathias VAUGHT was born on May 31 1750 in Hanover,
Germany. Contributed by Douglas Hester He died on Nov 13 1833 in Horry County,
South Carolina. Matthias Vaught and his new wife settled on a plantation between
Wampee and Red Bluff near what was known as Lee's Mill and in later years, as
Hardee's Mill.
