Title: 1921 Calhoun and Webster Counties, Mississippi Financial Directory

Date Published: 2003

Description: 1921 Calhoun, Webster County Mississippi MS Financial Status for Calhoun and Webster County, Mississippi, for the Year 1921. Edited and Published by Jan and Naomi McPeek at Aaron's Books. Salem, Ohio. August, 2003 This booklet includes 4 index pages and 2 1/2 pages of listings about approximately 300 tradesmen and manufacturers, and their financial condition in Calhoun and Webster County. This is fascinating local and genealogical history immediately preceding the Great Depression, which will give you great insight into what was happening in the communities and who the principal players were at the time. It is possible that many of these towns no longer exist and others have blossomed into nice size cities. All towns listed in this report are named at the bottom of the description. This information was compiled from the R. G. Dun (became Dun and Bradstreet) Mercantile Reference Book of January 1921 and was confidential information at the time of publication. The information for each listing includes the name, trade or business, financial worth, and credit rating. The text is on a good grade of paper, making it easier to read than the original newsprint. This report comes spiral bound in a durable manila report cover. Towns included in this report are: Banner, Big Creek, Burke, Burkett, Calhoun City, Derma, Heron, Hollis, Loyd, Pitts,Pittsboro, Reid, Sarepta, Slate Spring, Timberville, Vardaman, Wardwell, Alva, Bellefontaine, Cadaretta, Chester, Clarkson, Cumberland, Cancy, Embry, Eupora, Grady, Greensboro, Hohenlinden, Mantee, Mathiston,
